I just read this:

The Kansas City Chiefs have jumped ahead of both the Eagles and Patriots and claimed Viking QB Tyler Thigpen off waivers.

It was another poster who wrote it, but it looked like he cut&pasted a transaction from another site. Anyone have info on us trying to sign QB Tyler Thigpen?

From what I read, the fans are really PISSED that Childress tried to stash him on the ps and now they lost him. If true, this could support the revenge theory (although I still don't believe BB signed Herron out of revenge)

Earlier this morning, Childress acknowledged Philadelphia was poking around Thigpen as well. Childress said if the Vikings lost Thigpen: “I’d be sick.”

Karma's a b!tch and so is Brad Childress. Ha ha. Smart move, smart guy.

Thigpen Claimed By Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs have jumped ahead of both the Eagles and Patriots and claimed Viking QB Tyler Thigpen off waivers. The Chiefs had cut every QB on their roster except Brodie Croyle and Damon Huard, so obviously they were in need of a third guy....

Well, you gotta keep the guys you really want, and backup and/or future QB rates pretty high up there.

BB seems to keep QBs. Carried Brady, Cassel and Gutierrez on hte 53 as rooks, and put Kliff Kingsbury on IR.

If you gut a QB that seems to have potential, you gotta protect them, as other teams WILL grab them. Too many drafted (even first day picks) QBs just don't seem to hack it in the NFL.
