T.O. skipped his weekly Wednesday media session, posting a laminated, typed sign in his locker to explain his absence. Here it is (punctuation error is his):

Dear Reporters,

Due to the magnitude of this week's game and high volume of questions for the Original 81 about the other 81. I will be taking all questions immediately following Sunday's game.

Sincerely,

Terrell Owens (autograph)

p.s. Getcha Popcorn Ready

Yes, get your popcorn ready, because Randy Moss is going to be putting on a show.

Ahahaha.. thats great. Too bad he isn't the best #81 ;)

iam hoping moss doesnt respond at all

He's probably busy putting super glue on his gloves.

Getcha popcorn ready? TO should actually try to catch a pass that hits him between the 8 and the 1. I think Rodney Harrison has had his popcorn ready for a couple of days now!!!:bricks:

I was a little concerned about the game and now TO has put all my worries to rest - the Pats rally around comments like these like white on rice.

TO be honest a lot of you just need to relax, this won't get the pats fired up, they will go out and beat the cowboys butt anyway. By the way, I like T.O. and I thought it was hilarious. "The original 81"

LOL,,,, I would bet that TO called Moss and told him he would be doing this,,, I think this is his way to get a laugh from Moss. There is no bad blood between Moss and Owens, and it has been a while since they played against each other. Also It tells me TO is tired of the vulcher reporters asking questions,, hoping for a response they can twist to sell more tabloids. Props to TO,,,,, and GETCHA self ready for Sunday.

I don't really like popcorn:cool:

The Original #81?

If the Cowboys have Night Train Lane for this game, it could really change the outcome...

I'm just hoping TO finds a way to remember that he has 10 fingers, and they need to wrap themselves around a ball thrown his way. I think he will, but it's a concern.

RM is reborn, but I'm also hoping Wade's scheme and personnel are ready to semi-contain him.

Nice research! If there has ever been a cooler name in football, I don't know of it

I thought Moss & TO did hate each other 1 time.

i remember when this guy got elected to the HOF, they showed a highlights package that has never been equaled. This guy was built like LT (the "real" LT), ran like the wind, and absolutely pulverized these poor little guys he was playing with. He is definitely the greatest #81.

anyone catch the bit on espn about 81 vrs 81 with Salsberry? their were 4 categories and Sals gave the edge slightly to Moss and then Damon Jones called in who is TO's best friend and gave some weak argument about why TO's better. My opinion:

Concentration: Moss
Catching: Moss
Speed: Moss
Route Running: Moss
Supporting cast: Moss
