Didn't see this quote of Brady before ....

"I like him a lot. He's a smart kid," quarterback Tom Brady said. "He's really willing to learn. He's excited. He had a great, productive college career. He's coming in and he's really working hard. I think everybody is impressed by his work ethic."

Sounds like Jackson is going to fit right in with the Patriots way of doing things.

If he's working as hard as Brady says, Jackson will really be something because he certainly has the physical skills.

I'm tickled to see the evidence of his attitude ... as much as his skill set.
And he seems smart enough to understand
that he has a beckoning opportunity
to end his rookie season
as the top receiver
to the best QB in the game.

That's some nice impromptu poetry there

The only uncertainty to me is whether Jackson is smart and instinctive enough. I have NO REASON to think he isn't. But he has more than enough athletic ability and, evidently, is working hard with a good attitude. Assuming he's smart and instinctive enough for the hard work to show itself on the field, there should be no stopping him.

Hopefully Jackson can help Brady achieve that 30-TD season he's capable of.

I don't care whether he gets 30 TDs or not as long as they win. Frankly I'd rather see Brady throw for 20 - 25 and Dillon/Maroney run for +/- 20.

Chad Jackson looks good
We hope he'll be a starter
David Givens who?

I wished he rymed a little more, but overall that poem is a winner.:)

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Gostkowski set a record for points scored (by a rookie, even) . . . and doing it on PATs alone. :D

Or maybe having Brady throw for ~30, Dillon/Maroney picking up ~20, and Cassel getting a good 10 or so, too. :)
