Anyone else shocked?
i suppose it makes sense. he would come back in wk16 then he would need paying next year.
Did he really need to be IRd - seems a minor injury by some reports.
Thoughts?
lot of good points raised gentlemen. My biggest worry is the coach turnover rather than the players leaving. flowers replaced by bennett and brown by whoever. Its that core of coaches that left for pastures new.
Been thinking and Iv come up with a realistic scenario.
Bill knows that after all the upheaval and players leaving that 2019 will be very hard. I think he, and brady to some extent, have marked 2019 as a rebuild year. With the Draft picks we have and the fact that there are no major contracts...
Both looking at around $12mil i think so if gronk retires that gives us approx $28mil cap space. Then Ghost needs paying 4ish. I think flowers is the better football player but Brown looks after the crown jewel.
Flowers seems more likely to accept a team friendly deal than Brown from whats been...
Anyone guess at what Trent Brown is going to get FA. Who would you rather keep Flowers or Brown. Its these two and Ghost that are the real keepers. Seems both are due bumper pay deals
interesting. there is always a risk that the draft that year has zero standout QBs. My thought process was mainly to make the most of bradys last few years and give him a good team. Persoally i wouldnt be that uset having a crap year the year after brady goes if we can get long term QB.
Personally I would rather save draft cap and not get a QB in the draft whilst brady is here. Would anyone else be happy with us using hoyer and going 2-14 for a year in order to get a really high draft pick and then bag the next baker mayfield.
Or do you place the year spent under brady as mor...
Not really, I just think that it is going to be very hard to get a decent QB in a draft in the next 2-3 years. So the other option is a trade QB. Mullens just caught my eye and wondered if anyone else could picture him being traded for a 3/4 rd pick. He looked a lot like Jimmy G.
I could picture this happening. Bill has good relations with Kyle. I think we could get a deal together for binging Nick over to study under Brady. Nick is raw but looks a possible baller.

Hi Guys
Iv only recently got into the whole college football scene and am greedily consuming historic games. I just watched the 2006 Rose bowl - WOW.
Problem is when i try and get advice online about which games to watch they always spoil it by having the final score in bold next to the...
although memebrs of thepublic outside usa might struggle, i d say that any othert prof sportsman hears names in other sports all the time. I know of lebron james only from ready patriots articles and there being a story about him next to it, so thats how you learn
To be honest, outside USA and maybe canada, 99.7% of people have zero interest in NFL. If you mention NFL they say " err is that the one with all the stops and commercials all the time". I doubt 99% of the rest of the world could name one single nfl player. Although the SB is a big export to...
rubbish. The players are like employees. They are here for one reason. To generate money for the league and owners. Thats it. As long as they are doing that, the temporary happiness of players for a coupe of years on massive wages means zilch. So you want to codel the players even more do you...
