Until I see Schiano coach OSU, there’s still a chance. We just saw what happened last night. Hoping for Schiano and his nickel 4-2-5 scheme to come alive in New England
Mangini needs to make amends ASAP because Arizona might snatch Flores. Now, them Cardinals are very quiet on social media about who they are gonna hire. Maybe Flores is quietly building his coaching staff? Buying time until the season ends?
Flores is my top choice, then maybe Mangini because of the system familiarity. I was just keeping an open mind because BB may not have the luxury of grooming for the position. Dude is what, like 66 yrs old? Whatever he decides, I am all aboard.
A) He sucks as a head coach not as a defensive coordinator
B) Like I said earlier, Bilichick will keep him in check to prevent the mistakes he had in the past.
C) Just f**king keep Flores so everybody is happy
I don’t know why people are so riled up when Rex or any other coach outside New England is mentioned in this discussion. We can talk about in house development as the path to becoming coordinators in NE. But don’t tell me these coaches cannot bring any ideas or innovations to this team. And...
We have the players to be aggressive. Hightower will set the edge. Rivers will come back from injury. Maybe Harrison stays who knows. Belichick will keep him in check. No other distractions. The Patriot way.
I think because of our offense, we can be a little aggressive on the D. Remember 2010 when a Ryan D dominated the pats. That’s what’s missing on our current D
I would like to see:
OC- Mike Martz, Charlie Weiss, some college football coach who knows spread offense
DC- Schianno, Mangini, Rexy Sexy Feet, Crennel
Both coordinators are top candidates to land a head coaching gig at the end of the season. Who is your top candidates? I personally like the idea of Chip Kelly and Brian Flores but you guys already know that’s not gonna happen. Chip is in UCLA and Flores might be heading to Cardinals
I personally think Justin Jones, 6'8" 277 Ibs TE/WR hybrid with a vertical jump of 39" is an interesting prospect. Imagine him and Gronk in red zone plays
