If the draft started over today. I think it would be Luck #1, Wilson #2, RG3 probably T10. Too fragile and he still hasn't developed much as a passer. A lot of play action deep balls or plays where he has one or two reads (usually an in/slant). Wilson actually makes some great throws.
Game was a snooze-fest indeed. Atrocious play calling by the Colts OC. Same guy who called the plays during their 2-14 run last year. Everyone in the entire universe knew they were going to run on 2nd down.
That being said, even though I'd love a home playoff game, nothing would satisfy me...
I watched the last game and the game was a lot closer than the score suggests. It was a 6 point difference going into the 4th. Colts had a blocked punt and fumbled on the one yard line about to score. Hou got a free TD plus stopped a TD. Without those mistakes, I think the game would have been...
He's done well IMO. He could break 1k yards after this weekend. That's pretty good considering the pile of **** that we got with ochocinco. Hopefully he can break out in the post season. There are some guys that turn into monsters in the post season but are relatively tame in the regular season...
I don't hate the Colts anymore. Most of the obnoxious fans have jumped ship and boarded the Broncos bandwagon now. Luck is a very humble kid and having one hell of a season. Hard not to root for him. I'm also rooting for Chuck. I obviously don't want them to beat the Pats but I'm pulling for...
Bruce Arians said they likely will not rest starters:
Pagano Returns, Colts Seem Unlikely To Rest Starters Against Texans - Stampede Blue
It's good for us (if they beat the Texans) and for them. If Luck beats the Texans, it'll help his case for ROTY, first game with Pagano back so he can shrug...
Not afraid of Denver. Even at their place. Like another poster said, they always come out flat and the good offenses (Atl, NE, Hou) took advantage of that. Hell even against the Ravens, take away the interception return and it was 10-0 at half time with the Ravens about to score.
It happens...
You included the team least likely to get in (Jets) and didn't include the team most likely to get in (Colts)???
Anyways, Ravens. If Cincinnati wins out, I think they get the North. The Ravens are riddled with injuries right now, offense is stagnant, and look like they are going to implode...
Keep in mind that after the Patriots loss they had the easiest remaining schedule in the NFL. All they have left is the Chiefs and Browns. Patriots really need to win today.
Not only that but I LOVE it when Manning-fans(can't call them Colts fans, some of them jumped ship to Denver) complain about Manning not having a defense.
2005: ranked #2 in pts allowed, #11th in yds allowed
2007: ranked #1 in pts allowed, #2 in yds allowed
2008: ranked #7 in pts allowed, #11...
Since I see Rodgers in there for Berkeley, they should include Elway as well(Stanford). Hell if Luck keeps doing what he's doing maybe someday he'll be in that group too.
Not at all. I recall reading an article in where they played golf together in the off season or something. It's not hate. Anyone who has played a competitive sport whether in h.s. or college knows the feeling. They are huge competitors, especially for those 60 minutes they meet each year but...
19th against the pass + injured secondary = Brady having a good day. Just hope the O line can handle Watt. I can see it being a shoot out. Hopefully it's more like the Pack / Texans game.
Maybe this was discussed earlier in the thread but that #1 seed is looking somewhat realistic. Pats win out. I can see Hou dropping a game to the Colts.
