So, people are basing their thoughts on Polk based on his 40 yard dash, but the guy had 69 catches, over 1000 yards receiving and 9 TD catches. Yeah he’s good at contested catches, but he also gets separation and is open all the time.Crap, I hate this pick. Two round reach and he's a slow contested catch specialist (i.e. N'Keal Harry)

NFL Network breakdown is, he can win jump balls, doesn’t get separation and isn’t a good rout runner. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
No worries. 95% of the board doesn’t know **** about Polk. They just read the scouting reports..I don’t know **** about this guy
Best reply tonight.. lol lightbulb moment for some.Nice list buy also a very short one

Here’s the 40 time of some the slowest NFL receivers
Cooper Kupp 4.62
Davante Adams 4.56
Keenan Allen 4.56
Diontae Johnson 4.53
Amon-Ra St Brown 4.51
Michael Pittman 4.52
Jakobi Meyers 4.63
Mike Evans 4.53
Ceedee Lamb 4.50
Mike Williams 4.53
We would take any of those guys. In fact, Polk reminds me A LOT of young Kennan Allen. 40 time isn’t the be all/end all for WR’s. Polk is a player, or as Maye calls him, a stud.
I watched Washington a lot last year. He’s a good WR. Penix depended on him a lot. He’s going to be an excellent receiver for Maye to grow with.
It was raining that day. Were on the same wavelength lol because i was compiling a list too for my own knowledge. Add devante adams 4.56, mike evans 4.53, pittman equal 4.52, keenan allen 4.72 (?!)
It looks like he actually knows how to play the positionSo, people are basing their thoughts on Polk based on his 40 yard dash, but the guy had 69 catches, over 1000 yards receiving and 9 TD catches. Yeah he’s good at contested catches, but he also gets separation and is open all the time.

I heard a player comp that got me excited...
Puka Nacua.
Notice the section that says "No agility testing ......". A RAS score comparison, when the player skipped the Short Shuttle and 3 Cone to improve his score, is basically garbage.Interesting stuff: Ja'Lynn Polk had an unofficial RAS score of 9.11 so he might be more athletic than you think.

Here's a scouting report that projects Polk as an X receiver and a top-75 prospect: 2024 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Ja'Lynn Polk
