This simply exposes the reality that kicking for a small time program that is most famous for a tragedy 50 years ago and not really anything they have done on the field isn't the same thing as kicking for the preeminent franchise (in terms of sustained recent success) in biggest sports league by revenue on the planet.

Metric is pretty simple. Once the media stops covering Kaepernick, nobody cares about him (except to possibly reflect on what a douchebag he is). Once the media stops covering this guy, nobody will care.

One might guess that Rohrwasser is the most popular Patriot chose in this draft, as there has been about 250 replies.. give the kid a chance.

Meanwhile the Globe and Herald have sent out "cubby" to fully investigate this kid.. news breaking soon.

Perhaps I am naive, but he has been around a lot of minorities in the 4 years he was in college playing football, and if he is what his tattoo says he is someone might have noticed.

People still bring up Karpernick. Just because it’s inconvenient for you doesn’t mean you get to rewrite reality to be more comfortable. It was only a few weeks ago where a mistaken story of Kaep getting signed got printed and it set off a powder keg in the media. People very much care, as much as you wish they wouldn’t

No I am agreeing with you. IA has argued that "One sought the spotlight, and one didn't" as to why they are different.

I'm simply saying if a person expects to be one of ~1700 people in the whole world who play in the NFL, "the spotlight" is simply inherently part of that life pursuit.
