They are actually near perfect reflections of each other. You could almost play a mad lib game and not be sure who were you were speaking about.

___________ (Declining QB/rookie K who was over drafted) whose _________
(advocacy/support of a fringe group) is oversized in terms of spotlight compared to his on the field performance and which offends __________ (right/left leaning) portion of the population.

One guy had a spotlight on him and used it to promote his douchebaggery, while the other guy only has received spotlight because of his views.

One guy wanted the spotlight badly, and one guy had it thrown on him.

How about if he tattoos a slash over the III tattoo?
No you’re wrong. You’re talking about the same people that scream about how great freedom is until they are having their precious football game disrupted because a handful of players kneeled down. Then they cheer their hero, who speculated on injecting bleach into people as a medical treatment, when he says they should be dragged off the field and fired
See, you strongly and vociferously disagreed with me :)

What has he said that's been inflammatory?
Nothing, to my knowledge. That was just a generalization in my opening in response to what I viewed as a “freedom of speech gives me immunity vs getting fired” argument.

Are you serious about the 1%?
of course I'm serious...here's my latest pic taken last week...

Whats the saying? Welcome to the big leagues rook?

The spotlight is part of the job description...Theres what, 200 some odd people a year who can rightfully claim “I was drafted by an NFL team”?

It doesn't change the blatantly obvious difference. One guy sought out the spotlight to be an ignorant douchebag, and one guy didn't.

By the way, if you can find the time to get outraged about some kid with a tattoo and post all day long about how infuriated and disgusted you are with everyone and anybody who disagrees with you, I suggest you try SingTFU and take the time to discover the joys of jerking off...jeezus krist...you gotta be a mountain climber around here to reach the friggin' high moral ground some of you clowns reside on.

Based on Justin’s response to the media inquiry about his ink, it seems he sees this differently than you do.

But by all means, write Justin some fan mail imploring him to stick to his guns and not cover up a tat he got as a teenager (bad idea #1) that iconically may mean something now that it didn’t then. Don’t let him crumble to the pressure.

yes.

One guy wanted everyone to pay attention to a movement that’s goals were to save minority lives. The other guy wanted everyone to ignore that he branded his body with the symbol of a group that is alt right and arms themselves so they can protect Nazi’s in their hate match.

I don’t understand how someone can be this uninformed. It’s mind boggling to me.

From the Webpage of the 3 Percenters. Take from it what you want

WHAT IS THE THREE PERCENTERS?
‘The Three Percenters - Original’ is a national organization made up of patriotic citizens who love their country, their freedoms, and their liberty. We are committed to standing against and exposing corruption and injustice.

We are NOT a militia. However, we do have meetings on local levels. These meetings are to help members network together and to learn from each other. Being a Three Percenter is more of a way of life rather than a club to join. As such, there are no membership fees or dues and we will not charge people to participate in a movement that defends civil liberties. However, some events may be held at facilities that require admission. This can be paid individually, as a group, or through a legal means of fundraising. Operational costs (Website hosting, forum, domains, store, etc) are paid for privately by the National Leader with aid from proceeds from the online store. Mostly, we are an “open source community” meaning, we help each other and try not to rely on third parties or institutions that cost money for our operations. We consist exclusively of volunteers and no member at any level is on any payroll provided by our organization.

We are NOT anti-government. In fact, we are very pro-government, so long as the government abides by the Constitution, doesn't overstep its bounds, and remains “for the people and by the people”. Our goal is to utilize the failsafes put in place by our founders to rein in an overreaching government and push back against tyranny. We are working to preserve the intent of our government as designed. We do not intend to implement our own government. There is often a misconception that we are wanting to overthrow the government. This is simply not true and a false rumor to try and paint our movement as anti-government.

We do not seek to incite a revolution. However, we will defend ourselves when necessary. We are not here to create violence. Violence should always be a last resort and even then should only be defensive in nature.

They sound like the Oathkeepers.

My only problem with groups like this is that they imagine they know more than they do about that which they are so passionate about, typically, the Constitution - including an absolute blindness to ambiguity and ignorance of binding interpretations that came after, and events that led to the wording in the first place.

The 2nd Amendment is the prime example of this in our times.

Also, the simple illogic of not allowing a document like the Constitution to be a living document that evolves with society (something even Jefferson warned about). If the Constitutional Originalists had their way, what would that mean for blacks and women in America?

They're like Biblical Literalists trying to explain why football players can work on Sunday.

Yea, that’s it. Do some basic research, or are you so stuck in your ways you refuse to?
No I just realized it’s a waste of my time to bother informing someone who has committed to renouncing reality so completely

Kaepernick's movement was and is a joke, as is he.

The other guy is a kicker nobody cares about.

Man, I do not want to live in your false reality. It honestly sounds like torture, but hey, you have to live in it. I kind of feel bad.

Refractory period freedom :)

So nobody cares about it.... except he’s been asked about this almost immediately upon being drafted, sports media personalities are already bringing it up, outlets like the AP already are writing articles about it, etc
