What Can the Patriots Realistically Expect From Demaryius Thomas?

Just shows that you are apparently too dense to understand easy concepts like draft value. Even after six months. Amazing how some people dont grasp some things despite watching BB do it for almost 20 years from the front row.

Also it seems like the difference between saying "they cant draft WR" and "the drafted players were bad" is too nuanced for you. Because one is true the other is not.
Yes easy concepts like “if you take less of one position then you need to hit on it even more”. The fallback for any true homer is “heh looks like it worked out well!” Obviously the team has had plenty of success overall. That doesn’t mean that the team has success in every area of everything it does. Bill hasn’t drafted well at receiver. Plain and simple. You can argue he hasn’t devoted resources to receiver in the draft which is why we don’t have Steeleresque receiver success but what he has devoted to receiver by and large has been a failure. If you get 10 hits in 100 at bats or 1 hit in 10 at bats you still have a crappy batting average. Is that nuanced enough for you?

The reality is that they have drafted WR as well as other positions if you account for where the picks were taken. To once again use the words of one of the better beat guys:

But keep Felger-ing away at people who see things from a more rational point of view.

So what does your random writer on Twitter judge hits be misses on? Because I really can’t think of any busts at RB outside of Maroney (who falls outside of this guys criteria) and maybe Antoine Womack? Same goes for O-linemen. I can’t think of any that were drafted relatively high that were flat out busts. Also this guy is taking into account fliers that are taken in the 7th round who are going to bring down the average at each positions.

Bill thought that Jonathan Baldwin was just as good or better than Julio Jones.

That is your answer at to why the Pats are terrible at drafting receivers

Lol someone in the other thread tried to use that as a check in the win column for Bill’s receiver evaluation skills.

Don't get me started on that 203Pat BB better not take Fourth Round WR in the Second.

I say Double or triple dip just to make sure.

The irony that you are able to point that out but not realize that this is exactly the point you are trying to argue against when it comes to WR is so funny.

Baldwin + the entire Falcons draft in 2011 + 1st/4th in 2012 > Julio Jones

Which is not a bad take at all. But then again you are just trolling so whatever.

Lol yea it must be those late round fliers on Jeremy Gallon, Jeremy Ebert, and Devin Lucien dragging down Bill’s stellar receiver average.

The guy you hitched your wagon to on Twitter thinks his post is stupid apparently.
