You just can't tell from that picture because of the angle. That angle is deceptive. It's not clear at all in my opinion. It's way too close for anyone to say this was clear one way or the other

Meterpareil is that show's designated contrarian. I imagine in his personal life he roots for the Boston teams, but his role on the show is a foil in a lot of ways. He talks down all the boston sports teams on the show (except BC, which he talks up because the other guys don't care about BC)

I agree - and if one has no problem with the Pats scoring a royal s-load of points on certain teams (all teams), this is the defense that should be used, not the weird, "Well other teams (Colts) have done it too"

Exactly what I'm talking about. Both of your sentences above are not true. "It's okay to do something against the rules because we think the Colts did it in the past (or maybe still do it-who knows?)" "It's okay to run up the score because the Colts did it in the past"

We ought to stop trying to defend the Pats by disparaging the Colts. It's a big trend around here, but it's some kind of weird logical non-starter.
