You're kind of contradicting yourself
Byrd and McCourty are both free safetys, 5'10' and right around 200LBS. So how is getting Byrd any different the Reed other then the obvious age difference. And the veteran leadership that Byrd would not bring.
This poll is a loaded question. In any other game on any other day, absolutley its a hold. With the way that game was called, I don't see how the can make that call to basically decide the game. You give a team like the 9ers 8 tries to get in the end zone, they get in. But for the situation I...
I like Lloyd. I think he had decent production for a 3/4 option. I don't think the price they are paying for him is a great bargain but its notbad. He is getting what he deserves. And as for the people saying he didn't get enough touchdowns. How many TDs would you like the Patriots to get? When...
Whatever move the Pats make in the secondary, I hope it doesn't involve moving Dennard and DMc out of the positions they finished in last year. Dennard has shown more then a few flashes of being very good, just needs some development. And I think reiterating the impact DMc made a safety is...
I heard he audibled into the run on third and 7 before the Ravens got the ball back, and he also audibled the knee at the end of regulation. And that pick he threw to end the game had no gas on it. It certainly seems like he will have to have his pass attempts limited in the future if he is as...
I think we let it ride with Patricia and stop with the talk of replacing him. I think BB trusts McDaniels and TFB to run the offense. Allowing BB the time to mold the defense into exactly what he wants it to be, considering we have young personnel and staff .. And if Patricia is as smart as...
I apologize for my terrible punctuation in this post, I was interrupted like 10 times and did not proofread it... Stupid work, don't these people know I'm busy
Could be and interesting move if we could get him, Low risk possible high reward. BB loves these moves... But not necessarily vital to keeping McCourty at safety, which I think we can all agree is the best option right now, even if Arrington is down with a concussion If Talib (when ready and un...
Believe me I agree with you. I know Arrington was not great. But in oreder to make interceptions you have to be in the general area of the guy you are covering and be looking at the ball. He is very rarely doing either nowadays.
I know that. But after 13 years I consider 3 years "when he first got here" I will rephrase what I said to "In the early BB years he had guys like..." rather then when he first got here if it pleases the Court of Splitting Hairs.
Thiese 2 guys are a perfect example of what I am talking about. We all know about McCourtys turn into whatever he is now, but don't forget Arrington did not used to be this bad. He was never a great coverer but I think we have all forgotten he used to be decent. I believe it was 2010 he had 8 or...
You want to know what I think one of the biggest problems with this defense is? It's not coaching and it's not talent. It is attitude. When BB first came here he had guys like McGinist, Law, Bruschi and Harrison, need I continue? These players had swagger. I'm all for the "Patriot Way" when it...
