On if he was given any explanation by the officials on the last play of the game:

"I didn't say anything.  I didn't really see the play either so I don't know whether it was a good call or a bad call.  We had plenty of chances, we won't make any excuses.  We could have done a better job tonight.  When you play good teams on the road you've got to play good for 60 minutes and we didn't. W e played O.K., shot ourselves in the foot too many times.  Disappointed to lose, but we've got another big one coming up this week."

On if he realized right away that the flag was thrown, and if when he went up to the official, the official said nothing:

"I don't make the calls or the rules.  I mean, I know...like I said, I didn't see it so... I wish it wouldn't have come down to that.  I mean, I think there was plenty of plays we could have made.  But it did, and they're going to make the call or they're not make the call.  But we can play better than that."

On the 3rd and one play where he threw it out of the endzone, and if there was anything he wished he could have done differently:

"I wish we would have converted it.  We didn't execute great.  We had an opportunity.  But that was a big play in the game and we didn't come up with it.  There were a few of those where if we make the play, it puts a lot more pressure on them.  But that was one of the critical ones and third and ones, you've got to make, especially on the road.  We lost some close ones on the road, three of them, all pretty close games.  So we've got to find a way to win them."

On if he felt that last pass to Gronkowski was catchable:

"I mean, he was kind of weaving in and out of there and I just didn't really want to throw it over his head and out of bounds so I was a little indecisive.  It wasn't a great throw.  No excuses, it should have been a better throw."

On the fact they settled for field goals instead of touchdowns in the red zone:

"Especially against a good defensive team.  We knew they were pretty good statistically in a lot of the categories.   We had opportunities to get down there, we moved the ball pretty well.  We just couldn't punch it in and get enough points.  We had plenty of chances, we just didn't get it done."

On the amount of pressure their front seven got on him:

"Well, they got a couple sacks and then really nothing until the last drive where they had a little pressure.  But it's a passing situation, so ... they've got a good front, they get after the quarterback.   We had plenty of chances.  We didn't play our best.  They played better than we did.  They made a few more plays and that's just the way it goes sometimes."
