REPORT: Patriots Vollmer Traveled to Atlanta, May Play Sunday Night Against the Falcons

Today has been a case of "good news, bad news" so far, and it looks like the Patriots at least have some positive news and won't be without yet another critical piece of their offensive puzzle tomorrow night against the Falcons.

According to the Boston Herald's Karen Guregian, right tackle Sebastian Vollmer traveled with the team to Atlanta, and he's "likely" to play, although he'll reportedly be a game time decision.

This news comes following the earlier report from her colleague, Jeff Howe, who reported that neither Rob Gronkowski nor Danny Amendola made the trip and will miss this week's game.

Vollmer's been dealing with a foot injury that caused him to miss practice on Wednesday and Thursday of this week, but he came back and was "limited" on Friday and it appears he's prepared to tough it out. ย That's good news, because the Patriots will likely need all the help they can get in what should be a tough match-up.
