On if he realizes he’s 20-2 against the Buffalo Bills:
“Well it was tight today. I’m glad we came away with the win. We fought hard, we certainly have or opportunities out there to score more points, but we didn’t and the defense made a couple great plays there at the end.”
On what he says to Wes Welker after he drops what should of been a touchdown pass:
“Wes, I’m always going to go to him. He’s one of the best to ever play. He has a lot of mental toughness to fight through, he’ll be fine.”
On if it gets frustrating lately at the end not being able to close a game out:
“Well we’re always trying to make good plays, whether it’s the first-quarter or fourth quarter. We’ve got to play for 60 minutes, that’s the goal every week.”
On if he was surprised that there is still some sloppy play out there coming off of the bye week:
“It’s frustrating when we don’t play as well as we’re capable of. But it’s part of the game and part of the mental toughness of the game is to put those things behind you and to keep playing hard. We did that so, that’s why we won.”
On what it’s like to be on the sideline watching them drive down the field and he can’t do a thing about it:
“Well, we had plenty of opportunities to do something about it, whether you’re sitting on the sideline...I had an opportunity to do something about it 50 seconds before that. So the defense really saved the day.”
