Bad news on what is already a thin defensive line, with Kyle Love going down with an injury to his right leg early in the first quarter.
The defensive line starters were Shaun Ellis, Vince Wilfork, Love, and Andre Carter on the defensive line, with Love obviously in for Albert Haynesworth, who didn't make the trip as he continues to battle a back injury.
Love went down and was not moving on Oakland's second possession, and initiaully appeared to injure his right knee. He walked off gingerly under his own power, and after being attended to by the medical staff, ย left for the locker room early in the second quarter.
The team officially called it an "ankle injury", leaving his return as questionable.
Gerard Warren, who was re-signed this week, replaced him.
We'll have an update as it becomes available here in this entry.
UPDATE: Love returned to the bench in the second quarter, and returned for the Raiders first offensive possession of the 3rd quarter.
