Mike Reiss of ESPN just spoke to Logan Mankins, and apparently the news isn't good.
Reiss reported via Twitter that Mankins says he wants to be traded, and has no further desire to be a Patriot.
"I want to be traded," Mankins told Reiss. "I don't need to be here any more."
"This is about principle with me and keeping your word and how you treat people."
Reiss reports that Mankins will not sign his restricted free agent tender and does not plan to attend camp, so it appears this story is just beginning.
