Reportedly, Haynesworth did not even make the trip to Oakland with the team. He has battled a back injury for the past two weeks, and after practicing on Wednesday, he sat out on Thursday and Friday.
The Patriots did resign veteran defensive lineman Gerard Warren earlier this week, and he should see a good amount of playing time in Haynesworth's absence.
The loss of Haynesworth makes containing Darren McFadden and the Raiders potent run game even harder. For a look inside of McFadden's statistics this season, click here.
