RIP Frank M, i'm old enough to remember when he played
 
I was a bit too young to have remembered seeing Malzone play, though I do know that for a few seasons he was one of the very few on the Sox worth watching during and after Ted Williams' last couple of years.
Too bad that his declining bat prevented him from hanging around for the Impossible Dream of 1967; that would've been a great story and a fitting end to an honorable career.

RIP Frankie.
