Not a total surprise, but Morris was a really good team player and I'm sure the locker room will miss him. I'm assuming he'll retire in the not-too-distant future.

Kinda sad to see him go. The guy did everything for us (ST, catches out of the backfield, short yards, etc) and hope he knows how much he meant to Patriots Nation.

Morris was a really good cutback runner back in the Maroney days; he was so much more effective than that dancer. Unlike Maroney he was quick and decisive. But I am using the past tense here; he seems to have lost a step or two...he tried a cutback run on Thursday and did not make anything from it. He has tired legs; Ridley has fresh legs.
