I know, I know...I'm not supposed to read CRAP from national writers that are Anti-Patriot, but I can't help myself sometimes. Especially when it comes to this ridiculous story that has turned everyone into a lunatic. I submit the latest in insanity, compliments of Rick Gosselin of the Dallas Morning News, who cites that Brady must've been cheating with the PSI ever since 2007 because his numbers are significantly better since then. What this knucklehead fails to take into consideration is the changes in the rules which have significantly favored the offense and especially the passing game. Here is the link to his shallow article:

I did a little research into comparing other quarterbacks stats during the same period. I chose QBs that had at least a few years before and after 2007. It is amazing even across the board that everyone of them has better numbers after 2006.

Quarterback Comp % Yards TD's Ints Rating
Peyton Manning: '07-'14 67.2 4,586 36.4 13.6 101
Peyton Manning: '98-'06 64.1 4,176 30.6 15.4 95

Drew Brees: '07-'14 67.9 4,908 36.3 16.3 99.3
Drew Brees: '02-'06 62.6 3,309 21 12.8 86.9

Eli Manning: '07-'14 60.4 3,963 25.6 17.6 85
Eli Manning: '02-'06 52.9 2,683 18 14.7 69.4

Brett Favre: '07-'10 66.9 3,943 27.7 14.7 94.6
Brett Favre: '92-'06 61.2 3,833 27.6 18.1 85.5

Tom Brady: '07-'14 64.8 4,517 35 9.3 101.9
Tom Brady: '01-'06 62.0 3,593 24.5 13 88.5

Another reason: Moss and Welker.

Dumb. Just compare home and road games. The numbers are the same.

Also: hitting his prime QB years and working his ass off.

And wasn't that about the time of the Brady Manning rule about the rules? Ok yes it was 2006, so theoretically when QB's have ball just as they like it they would throw it better.

@ctpatsfan77 whats the disagree for?

everybody remembers how brady looked pretty ordinary in the superbowl, playing with balls inflated correctly. how many interceptions? how any badly thrown balls? giving him the mvp was a farce. the pats' defense kept the team close enough to let the defense win in the end. brady looked mediocre. it certainly looks as if deflating the balls gave him significant edge.

She isn't really helping the opinion that women should be quiet about sports because they know nothing.

Judy Battista really promotes that stereotype, you almost wonder if she's doing it deliberately.
