Looks like the cross breeding among AFC East teams continues

Mularkey's a decent OC choice - like the Jets plucking of Mangini it seems that all teams are placing a high value on gaining insight from other AFC East team's coaches... everyone except the Patriots of course, who just focus on being the best.

Once we take McDaniels off the market teams will settle for anyone.

Outside of his experience and accomplishments, what does this guy have to offer?

You're right.

Outside of his experience in the AFC as an OC for the Steelers, as well as his experience as a HC in the AFC East, and his accomplishments, and his insights about rival teams in the AFC East as well as first hand information about the strengths and weaknesses of Buffalo, I guess he really has absolutely nothing to offer.

You realize I omitted the  because I thought the sarcasm was obvious.

Of course you did.

Actually I didn't - my bad - sorry.

I think its a pretty wise move on Saban's part, just as long as he doesn't give Mularkey too much say in the personnel decisions.

This is great news! I was afraid Miami would hire somebody outstanding. Now I'm breathing a sigh of relief.
