I'll seriously eat my Patriots Jersey if they go RB in Round #1

Agreed. And this RB is not an every down back either. This would be the most surprising pick BB has made. I think Butler before Brown, and front 7 or OL much more likely.

Is anybody hearing anything about BB taking Ayers of Tenn. if he can not get into the top 10 for Tyson Jackson?

Apparently it was bantered about on sports radio for a full five minutes.

I could live with Brown of Uconn. He has the best vision of all the runners I have seen in this draft.

Why would the Pats take a running back when they just signed Fred Taylor a free agent running back to go with Maroney. The Pats have a running back by committee.

When I heard the rumour of a trade up that was my second thought;

First thought, yea, just like when we were going to draft that DL Robertson with the 4th pick 2 years ago, or so.

Second thought was Ayers, Only BB would make such a surprise move, but all it would take is some positive input from Mayo.

Pass rush is the number one priority in my book,, Reiss has drilled that in ,,

I thought Mel Kiper was an expert.

Did he take more then 5 minutes to study the patriots needs?:confused:

The bold picks are ones I could understand. I want to say that Donald Brown has no chance of making it into round 2, but Butler does. If Butler is gone, Alphonso Smith will be there.

Brown would be a huge shocker. I know Kiper's been mentionning this as the pick for a little while now... but wow - I'd be quite surprised/disappointed.

Truth : Other than the year Dillon went crazy, his 1st in NE, the Brady era has been pass 1st, run later. Unless Brown plans on being a 1600+ Dillon-type, not interested.

As my uncle used to say; "His ***** is sucking canal water." I think it was there way of saying you are full of it.
