I don't like this. I have a large bet on the Pats season wins over 10.5 so I need this win and it looks like they're not going to be trying too hard.

I could hedge and bet on Miami ML but I am not going to do that. I just have a sick feeling that I'll be feeling more sick in a few hours...

I never heard that - which doesn't mean it's not true, I hope it isn't. But it would be great to trade him for a mid 2007 pick to keep the extra picks flowing.

I wish The Hawk could play to help the secondary get more used to playing together.

with Childress active. Look for Troy Brown to come in at nickle.

Surprised at Flutie, but maybe we have to see Cassell under game conditions to determine what we need to do in the offseason. Perhaps Flutie had his chance last week.

I've never seen or heard a whisper about Cassel being anything but a hard worker, and a practice warrior since his SC days. I have a feeling they just want him to get some semi-significant reps against a tough team like the 'Phins before the playoffs and off season so they know what they have (in game action) going forward.

The on site guy reporting for CBS said Cassel would be first in to replace Tom, and Flutie would probably play much of the 4th quarter. I think Brady will play the first half, in part because I doubt BB would plan on Cassel having to carry the load for more than a quarter should he struggle, and whether he starts the second will depend on how the offense is playing. Last year it appeared BB didn't want to end the regular season with the offense sounding a sour note.

Palmer is starting for Cincy even though he was seen reaching towards that hammy in warmups today.

I'm more concerned about Dillon and Graham not seeing any action today. Graham has been out of the mix for a while now, and Dillon just hasn't looked right all season. Would have been nice to see both not needing to shake off more rust next weekend. And Hawkins was just getting into a little groove.... I figured Tedy and Asante would sit.
