Belichick's book

From the outside-the-football-hash-marks department, we pass along the following nugget:

Bookfinder.com, which touts itself as a search engine that searches over 100 million books for sale (including those out of print), has released its list of Top 10 sought-after out-of-print books for 2006. The results, detailed here, have a Patriots twist.

Steve Belichick's 1963 book "Football Scouting Methods" ranked second, trailing only Madonna's 1992 book "Sex". In third place was Suzanne Somers' 1976 book "Touch Me Again".

After donating his family's book collection to the Naval Academy earlier this year, Bill Belichick told The Capital that "Football Scouting Methods" was probably his favorite football book. Apparently, he's not alone.

Has anyone read it? I'm sure there are a number of us who have not been lucky enough to get hold of it, and informed opinions would be, as ever, very interesting.

Here's an idea. If you went through every Thursday/Friday press conference and grabbed every time where Bill talked about the history of football, or a bit more about his philosophies, you could collate that into a pretty informative read.
