Profootballtalk.com reports that free agent Derrick Ward has signed a four-year, $17 million contract with the Bucs.
Ward is reportedly guaranteed $6 million and has chosen Tampa Bay over Philadelphia, Cincinnati, and the Giants. Ward's market wasn't near what he and agent Drew Rosenhaus had hoped, as they began free agency seeking $34.5 million over six years. This positions Ahmad Bradshaw to be the Giants' No. 2 back, although he'll face some competition from Danny Ware.

I think this is a good signing by the Bucs hes a pretty decent back really quick, I thought he would definitely be signed by the Broncos.

Yeah apparently he visisted the Broncos.

But, Tampa has to spend some of that cap money in some way. :D

He's a good back.

Wow, I figured for sure Ward would sign with the Broncos. They did need somebody to go with Earnest Graham, with Warrick Dunn being cut and Cadillac Williams rehabbing his knee again. That defense of theirs got run over down the stretch, but at least they still have plenty of money to fill in pretty much anybody they feel like going after.

Yeah Caddy will be on the PUP next season they said Ward will take over as the receiving back too they were saying since Dunn is gone sounds like a good fit.
