DECISION COMING AT 8:30 p.m. EST

Per the NFL Network, the owners are expected to announce a decision on the CBA-revenue sharing conundrum at 8:30 p.m. EST Wednesday.

We're told that if a deal gets done free agency will get pushed into next week.

Stay tuned.

Its after 8:30 now - still we wait... but Jerry Jones says they are "getting close"

The announcement is probably they are continuing discussions.

Deal approved!!!!

Rumor has it they have agreed to a percentage with the NFLPA and are now just trying to work out that "little" detail on revenue sharing

That issue of course will dictate whether lower income teams actually can spend the money allowed under the CBA - so I can imagine that they would take a good amount of time to work out a fair revenue sharing plan that doesn't penalize teams with money devoted to expenditures like stadiums

But if indeed they have come to terms with the Union, that's significant and they can delay free agency and take the time they need to work out a revnue sharing plan as need be
