I about died laughing when I read this... Has he moved on to the WWE?
First thing that came to mind was just "Welker 2.0" as I'm one of those techies among us... and I refer to the players by last name.
This is pretty much what I was trying to point out. But apparently it came across differently. The easiest thing to look at is ones record... but there are too many nuances to look at when you get under the hood of said record, to use that record as the true measuring stick of a team.
Actually, if you read his posts, he says they're always dangerous, but then continues on using the misleading 2-5 record on the road as a yardstick for things to come.
I haven't been to the chargers board, so I don't know what they're saying. I only know what jc was saying, because he posted...
I'll call you crazy all day long :p You don't strategize to lose 5 games in a season... NE has been inconsistent, and Brady took 1/2 the year to get back into form. If NE does make it, it will be because they worked their arses off for the opportunity, and beat some really good teams in the...
Lets just completely leave out that 2 of those 5 road losses were in the first 5 weeks of the season... You know, when Brady was still uncomfortable in the pocket and still unsure of his knee...
The Saints game is a misnomer, as 63% of the saints yardage came from 7 plays out of 50 total...
Umm duh? of course we can. It's a matter of will we? I dunno. I'd like to think that if NE keeps playing as well as they did last week, they can beat anyone with ease. It's just a matter of their consistency and game planning now.
Just because we're not 14-1 or 12-3 doesn't mean we can't...
Absolutely was the best money spent :p
As for AFCCG tickets, I might have to forgo my cabo trip in April to go.... but I'd be there heh. Best part about '06 was buying my tickets off of a raiders fan who was rooting for NE that day. 39yd line, Patriots side, Row 1.
Notice my Screen name ;) I've lived in San Diego for 20 years... and ironically been a Pats fan for about 20 years HAHA. My history as a pats fan has to do with being born in Groton CT. Even though I've spend 66% of my life in San Diego.
I get crap daily @ work, but I still have my 3'x5'...
Well, if it comes down to that game in SD... I'll have to find some damn money somewhere to go to the game... Just like I was there in '06 season divisional round
That is true... But you keep using wording that makes an indication that they've got the SB all wrapped up... Which is indeed a false statement at this point. And what we CAN look at, doesn't look good for them, given their history of resting and then losing.
Those fact are unfortunately...
How many times have they been the #1 seed this decade? Or had a bye week wrapped up? How many times did they win a SB? Being the #1 seed isn't a guarantee... 2007 Patriots are the best example of that... 16-0 regular season, 2-1 post season...
Actually you could have just said that and not sounded ******ed... Both teams have gotten calls, as have the Giants and others etc... Might want to stop posting crap like this...
There is really only 2-3 categories where Peyton is WAY ahead... Passing yards, TD's and interceptions. The rest of them are all relatively equal and close. Moving on from there, the next step is to compare post season stats. Where the ultimate stat is wins, although I'm relatively sure the...
I think though, we have to analyze both sets of stats. Regular season consistency is great. But what's the point of doing so well in the regular season, only to fold in the post season?
18-1 for me, would have been more palitable with a loss in the regular season, and a win in the SB...
