Ask him why the spygate penalty was so harsh. Mike Perreirra, the director of officiating, stated several times that the video taping rule was put into effect many, many years ago. If that's the case, and the rule went unenforced all that time, why was the penalty so harsh? I'd love to know the...
I think people just need to relax a little bit. The Saints and Dolphins were both coming off of Thursdsay night games. Playing two weeks in a row against two teams who were sitting on ten days rest had to be hard for our guys.
Add to that the fact that it's probably pretty hard to practice...
Bobby Hamilton, Anthony Pleasant, Rick Lyle, Joe Andruzzi, Tom Ashworh, Steven Neal, Grant Williams, David Givens, Jabbar Gaffney. Maybe it's not as overblown as you think.
Welcome. Between your team and the Bengals they could put a team in Alcatraz. They could be called The Alcatraz Bengalbills. :D Tough stretch of luck for you guys lately huh? IMO, Lynch and Whitner are your two best players, so it'll suck for you if the owner doesn't want them anymore.
David Thomas, I'm really really rooting for this kid to have a great year. He's got the sweetest hands I've ever seen. He really needs more opportunities to go out and run routes instead of always having to stay in blocking. He should be used like Dallas Clark in Indy. Not blocking. Instead...
I became a fan in 76. although only casually because I was a kid and they were only on tv when they were good, which of course wasn't very often. But in those years when they were on tv, they were fun to watch.
Good stuff, but I guess it's just a matter of opinion. I'd still rather have younger players who can develop than older players who will only get injured or give you so many impact plays per year. IMO the ceiling should be 32 and not any higher. But whatever. Here's to hoping the older players...
6 players too many if you ask me. How many of those 6 players were dealing with some sort of injury last year? Would Junior Seau have broken his arm if he was 5 years younger? How many arm tackles has he made in his career? Older players get injured. Then what good are they? Would Tedy have...
I don't know. Getting rid of a 34 year old Mike Vrabel and then bringing in a 34 year old Jason Taylor? Doesn't make a lot of sense and I'd wonder how it would go over in the locker room other than Brady. I don't want him. Is it too crazy to want players that are at least younger than 32 on this...
In 2007, he had what was essentially an allstar team, or at least an allstar offense. How'd that work out? Other teams handle the cap better than we do. What seperates Belichick is his coaching. He's just better than all the rest. It's as simple as that.
