I would go further, and say that all of the QB's of all of the other NFL teams would have reacted the same. Plus this would have be just as big of a controversy to the fans of any other NFL city.

There wasn't two whistles. What you heard was a woman's high pitch scream at 2 seconds, and a ref whistle at 0. They should never have gotten the extra play. I rewind the dvr twice to make sure.

It is in there... I agree with you that it was a bad call, however... I heard a sports talk radio reporter say that these penalties are called every week. The rule just needs to be adjusted or another tool that takes the human element...

Branch is a poison right now. I think the team would be better with him than without, but this whole thing is just a distraction. Get beyond it by getting rid of him. If he comes back after sitting out 10 games, it will be such a distraction that it could cost them any chance of playoff...
