Even w/o KP, C's are best team left in the East.
But the margin for error is now much smaller.
As for the Finals, if we hopefully get there, we need KP.
Brunson is a much better player tham Herro. He's extremely crafty.
Probably the most underrated superstar in the NBA. He's not flashy, not big, just a quiet assassin.
The chemistry with the 3 Nova guys is huge. Knicks will not go down easy.
Pacers can light it up but their defense is terrible...
Refs have always allowed more contact in playoffs. It should be that way.
What's important is consistency within a game. Refs need to call the same plays the same way during a game for both teams. Players/ coaches are taking note early in games on how that particular crew is calling the game...
I think main reason he tailed off in '23
was Judon being out.
Judon makes everyone better.
Guess what? He's baaaaack!
So maybe Uche realizes he can have a monster year in 2024. Dude is,a serious passrusher.
Gonzo being back also helps out everyone on the D.
Symbiosis with cbs and passrushers...
I don't think C's can beat either Denver or Minny w/o KP.
We need all hands on deck. All 5 starters.
Hopefully he's back for at least the Finals- but a little scary since it's same injury Giannis is dealing with and he's still out. Fingers crossed
I will say this: JB did work hard to improve and he's having the best season of his career.
MJ was as skinny as Tyquan Thornton his 1st few years. But was still a great player. He added a little muscle and became even greater. But he's more the exception than the rule.
Olajuwon was not really...
Most nba guys would agree with me.
Being a physical specimen has nothing to do with being a great baller.
Vast majority of alltime nba greats including right now, were/are not physical specimens.
Anyway, White and Brown both bring value to the team which is what I care about. They have...
No. White is a better player than Brown in almost every category.
I like Brown, very good player but White is the superior player.
Better defensively, better ballhandler, passer, shooter, better decision-maker.
I'm glad we have both.
I'm trying to just enjoy each series.
But we all know the real test comes in the Finals.
No Giannis, but Knicks can be dangerous if the C's don't bring it every night.
I won't go that far- but thats based a lot on how many years Tatum has been consistently great.
But as for right now?
I still say Tatum, but DWhite is not far behind.
Having an awesome game tonight
