Hated that call on the bomb to a special teamer. Hated the long pass to Edelman, another WR who shouldnt be on deep routes (and who needs to try to break up impending interceptions); hated running BJGE outside the tackle on 3rd and 4 ( they should almost never have him run wide) and REALLY hated...
I've often wondered why, if the reason for Brady's success is "the system", given that teams have all the game tapes, why dont they just copy this great system? Surely this "system" can even make a below average QB like Sanchez look capable.
Overreaction. Just like WEEI and (especially) 98.5 talking most of day about Chad's 1 catch in 1st game, then projecting out 5 or 6 games, at which point he will be a malcontent and Brady will still not trust him. Gets tiring. Noone talks about the game, just the personalities.
Re: Schefter: Butler released
I dont care how many draft picks are "wasted" as long as BB builds a SB contending team with depth year in and year out.
BTW I was sitting in the nose bleed section for the Giants game and was closer to their WR than Darius.
BBTW Best wishes to him...
Here ya go:
No holds barred. There’s not one chain, one bar, one handcuff that can keep him from playing this game. Like, if he's on the field, it’s time. It’s time to go. And his attention to detail is probably at about 90-ish percent when he's on the field, because he notices when he...
Perhaps you can let me know what you saw Thursday night that suggested that Butler covers effectively, doesn't give huge cushions, and makes plays on the ball.
Do you really want to revisit Brady trying to force balls downfield to Moss to keep him involved and happy and prevent him from pouting on the sidelines? Was great while it lasted but I don't think the percentages of success are all that great when you go back and remarry your ex-wife either. :)
That 1.0 TE was pretty good but the 0.74 TE succked. Most of the time it was like he wasn't even all there.
BTW If it hasnt been mentioned, Hernandez is more of a WR than a TE.
I would be in favor of adapting the IR rule so that a certain number of players would be eligible to return during the season. However, the rule was adopted in the first place to prevent teams from hiding players on their roster and preventing other teams from claiming them. Imagine, you have a...
Ditto. And want to add that you keep harping on the Seymour trade...You apparently forget that, either due to injuries, motivation, or being malcontent, Richard Seymour didn't exactly play like an All Pro many games over his last 3 years here.
