Not sure why you would vote for Woodhead having a disastrous season in 2011.
Voting Rodgers, and whoever is most popular on the other side of the bracket and has the best chance to beat Woodhead.
Re: Schefter: Pats sign Marcus Stroud
This in no way means we aren't picking up a 5-tech with one of our top 3 picks. Stroud couldn't handle the 3-4 scheme in Buffalo, why do you think he could do it here? What he brings to the table is depth at defensive end, and a very good DT for that 4-man...
Don't see why everyone has us taking Leshoure... He doesn't look that good to me. He goes down as soon as he's touched, and he's not going to blow by people in the NFL.
Re: Which Running Back?
Ingram seems like a better fit for this team than Leshoure. He puts the team first, shows dignity when he talks, fights for every yard like its his last.
Leshoure might be a bit faster but looks like a boom/bust prospect. He goes down as soon as he's touched, and just...
Its impossible to ask a question like this without assigning price tags to them.
If I had to choose between:
1) Mankins on an 9 mil/year contract
2) Asomugha on a 10mil/year contract, draft pick from trading Mankins
...I would take Asomugha. We have the resources to adequately replace...
I wonder if Ninkovich could play at inside linebacker. He's big and strong, but also has shown some nifty coverage skills. If someone new enters the fold during the draft, perhaps he could be a sub-player at multiple positions?
The problem with Guyton/Spikes is that they're both...
Doesn't Hoyer beat Brady on the trash can drills?
I don't think the accuracy he displays here says that much about his potential as an NFL quarterback. He must have a killer work ethic if he has come this far from HS though, so I wouldn't count him out.
Re: Kamerion Wimbley Patriots OLB ?
Cullen Jenkins starts at DE for the Packers, and is definitely their best lineman after Raji. Green was a rotational guy.
Thats exactly our problem. Did you watch the Green Bay and NYJ games, where Brace wasn't available? Having Love on the line is like making big Vince play next to a piece of coral.
Vince can't play three positions at once.
Tate doesn't have the tools to be a star, but we don't need him to be a star. We need him to be a #2 and beat coverage. The Jets were daring him to beat Cromartie without help and he couldn't do it. The couple of catches he actually made this year were spectacular, and that only highlighted the...
Considering more than half of our defensive snaps were in 4-2-5 nickel, his primary duty would technically be to pin his ears back. His base duties would be to play the run though.
