Marcus Peters is lunch meat for NFL receivers at this point of his career, he's burnt toast. He was never consistent to begin with but now he's just a bad player
They took Cyrus with their own pick. They traded the 2nd they got from the Jones deal to the Saints for 3rd and 4th rounders which ended up Joe Thuney and Malcolm Mitchell. I had high hopes for Jonathan Cooper from that trade too, he didn't make it out of camp if I remember correctly
Jones currently has to be played in a way that accounts for his inability to keep contain and tackle running backs. He's a ball hawk, like Jackson was here. Jackson ended his first season as a key part of the best defensive backfield in the league. Jones trended down as the year went on. I don't...
He has a strange gait when running that causes him to fall/lose his footing a lot out of his breaks, I'm not as high on Jeudy as many are. Solid player but I'm not down to trade 14 for him.
Why isn't this person just disagreeing with you, why so dramatic? Look up the definition of the word you keep using here and ask yourself if hysteria is the best way to state your case. Gaslighting, go find a couch to faint on dude
I don't think he has slot receiver skills. He is a straight line guy whose fit with the Pats is more in the Phil Dorsett/Damiere Byrd style to my eye. All of the best Patriots slots -- Welker, Edelman, Troy Brown, Amendola -- were quickness guys more than straight speed, and were good punt...
True with regards to pre-draft. I am referring to the calls to trade a late round pick for him in the past, and now to sign him now to the practice squad. PS would be very low risk but I still would pass.
Looked at OL picks on days 1 and 2 going back to 2011 -- arbitrary cutoff, got bored. 2022 and 2013 tied in that span for offensive lineman drafted in the first round (9) and interior OL drafted in the first round (4). '13 and '22 drafts similar in that top of the draft was not considered strong...
Yeah there are not any clips of him backpedaling, should probably watch a game or two before I start making predictions off highlights. Jennings was used in a few different roles at Bama, Mitchell looks like he was a DE
Mitchell is the first front 7 UDFA I've watched since Adam Butler who looked like he could make the team on my first watch. He is strong and looks like a guy who does his job. Looks more capable than Jennings to me.
This was my most coveted player in the middle rounds and the one I most wanted them to walk away with in the whole draft. A fun combination of archetypes, Tyrone Poole/Ellis Hobbs and Tavon Austin/Dante Hall. I suppose it safe to call him my binky. This guy is going to be a fan favorite.
Hopeful that Wade is more effective than Eric Rowe was here, but Rowe has been better at safety in Miami than he was at corner. Something to consider if Wade struggles outside.
