Been told by someone that nailed our first 2 picks and knew some of the other picks before the likes of Schefter that he was actually high on our list for Round 2.
re: My 1 Round NFL Mock Draft with Trades 1.0 (Shea McClellin at #27 & trade down at #31)
I like the Fleener trade with the Colts. But, I think Bill would likely ask for a 2012 5th or 6th as well as the 3rd.
Ok, i've done my first and probably last First Round Mock for this year. There will be trades, but I can't really be arsed to mess around with them.
1. Colts - Andrew Luck, QB
2. Redskins - RG3, QB
3. Vikings - Matt Kalil, OT
4. Browns - Trent Richardson, RB
5. Buccaneers - Morris...
I'd strongly look at DaQuan Menzie as a Safety project in the 3rd/4th round.
He'd be another one that could be a Slot CB but also able to play Safety.
Not to mention he's from the Saban pipeline
Without trades
CBS:
27 Kendall Reyes, DE
31 Andre Branch, DE/OLB
48 Alfonzo Dennard, CB
63 Mohammad Sanu, WR
93 Michael Brewster, C
126 DaQuan Menzie, CB (convert to FS)
PFW:
27 Dre Kirkpatrick, CB
31 Kendall Reyes, DE
48 Whitney Mercilius, DE/OLB (no chance of him being there)
63 James Brown...
I believe it's come out that he's got a learning disability.
He can obviously play the game and knows a variety of schemes, so I have no problem with this.
Any draft expert or mediot that's mocked him should be out there apologising for mocking a young guy who is insanely talented for not...
Sergio Brown.
I think this is where Belichick's testing of McCourty, Moore and possibly Dowling as 2-position players could be key.
You can have Chung, Gregory and Barrett (plus a rookie/Landry) and then have Ihedigbo as the 5th S knowing that he's a solid Special Teamer and not the worst...
Christ, this fanbase has a lot of morons.
Decent signing at a position where there was a need.
If you want big name signings and no Championships, head elsewhere.
Re: Peter King, when asked if BB feels "pressure" to use all his draft picks this yea
I disagree with some of this.
I think both Love (early season) and Deaderick (late season) were very impressive other than the big game.
I can see Anderson sticking around as well.
NFL Network have lost it. Giants have the advantage everywhere bar WR/TE apparently.
For me:
QB: NE
RB: Tie
WR: NYG
TE: NE
OL: NE
DL: NYG
LB: NE
CB/S: NYG (not by much)
ST: NE
HC: NE
Since you said Hernandez,
I'm going to say:
Offense: Danny Woodhead. Everyone's talking about Victor Cruz, but I think another Undrafted guy makes big plays in this game.
Defense: Devin McCourty (at FS). While Eli is dropping back looking for Nicks and Manningham, McCourty is going to be...
Last year, Boldin played a lot on the left side of their offense and matched up with Arrington for much of the game (in what I think was Kyle's 1st start?)
Arrington played very well and knocked Boldin heavily off the line on multiple occasions.
Boldin vs Arrington is the a good match-up...
