22-Anthony Davis Rutgers
44-Brandon Spikes Florida
47-Terrance Cody Alabama (if Wilfork leaves, otherwise Kyle Wilson Boise State)
53-Jerry Hughes TCU (if we pick up a olb via free agency, than maybe dexter Mccluster Ole miss)
Like you said, antonio Bryant would be a sweet addition, but i think he'll be too expensive to our liking. Kevin Walter would come cheaper, but im not sure he's a fit. But the one i like the most is steve breaston. I'm not sure he's a free agent, but he would be relatively cheap and a good addition.
Definitely via free agency. There are plenty of good names available. We already drafted some young guys, now we just need a quality guy, who comes with a 2-3 mil contract.
I agree with you all that we need pressure from the inside, but i think it's also a schematic problem. If you looked at the Jets, the most effective blitz they did was attacking one side with a ILB and a safety/corner. The safety would be picked up by the RB, leaving the LB wideopen. If we could...
Thank You!!! Finally someone with a good argument.
But still, when vince was out, he didn't look spectacular. I'm not calling him a bust yet, but he hasn't shown anything yet either.
I think the lines are going to be the priority as well. Hope it plays out like this: Jerry hughes from TCU with the late 1st, than take Jahvid best with the jacksonville pick. The best guard (ducasse??) with the titans pick and trade the last second rounder to a bad team for their second rounder...
unproven in NFL. I would still re-sign vince though, so we don't need him. I would trade up to draft C.J. Spiller. We would never have to give up that much though.
Couldn't agree more Mayo. Ngata is extremely dangerous. I never felt like the ravens Defense would be much weaker after losing Scott and Leonhard because of the D-line staying intact. This could be a key-factor in the game sunday. We have to double team the guy every play. Pretty intersting too...
He was one of the best performers of the night. He got yards when they we're there and he lost yards when the o-line let the bills get in the backfield right after the snap. So if the o-line had blocked better for him in the second half, he probably would've had better stats.
Re: Rapoport: Mayo in good spirits, tells teammate it's "nothing serious"
Yeah i saw it too. he must've thought the same thing as we all did: knee injury to one of our key players in the first quarter of the first game. We gotta give alot of credit to our defense, which stepped up big time...
Re: matt light and few thoughts on tonights performances
Matt light was absolutely horrible. That Buffalo d-line is not even close to the best pass rush in the lead and still practically every snap that left side got pushed backwards. Only when Brady began throwing no huddle and really fast...
I'm not following this board completely. Last season everybody was screaming how we should trade seymour because he wasn't productive enough and injury prone.
Look at the facts:
1. Alot of guys need new contracts. You can't pay Sey those dollars, when you can use them on Wilfork and...
