That was the first season I started watching professional sports with a passion. They went 6-10, but I didn't care. Of course the next season they went to the Super Bowl, before losing to the Packers.
They've been a lot of fun to watch this year. I followed them last year but couldn't catch any games (out of area). It's been real nice with them on national television every 2 weeks this year.

Selfish as it sounds, I would much rather see Troy retired than play for another team.
I think we have seen the last of him in a Patriots uniform though.
