An "assault" charge can be for something as simple as pushing or poking someone in the chest during an argument. I learned that the hard way. It's a very lame charge and considering it happened at a party where the drinks and testosterone are plenty....I am not the slightest bit concerned about...
These are the players I want at all cost.
#17 - JJ Watt (even with a slight trade-up) or if he's not available Aldon Smith or Ryan Kerrigan
#28 - Muhaamad Wilkerson (even if they get Watt) because there won't be a pass rushing OLB worth more than Wilkerson at this spot.
#33 - Ben...
I'm hoping they move up a couple spots if needed and make sure they get Watt.
If they don't, and he's not there at #17, I'm hoping they take either Aldon Smith or Ryan Kerrigan and then Muhammad Wilkerson at #28. I'd still be pretty happy with that...
With me it's a no brainer...it's Watts
That said...I have no doubt Belichik will pass on both and go OL or CB or some other pick that will have me throwing stuff.
The Patriots preference for taking very good OT and making them OG has been well documented in the past. It's exactly what they did with Mankins who was a LT at Fresno but was questionable at that position in the NFL.
I can see them doing this again this year with someone like Ijalana who...
The Jets are about to be ravaged by Free Agency and their "win now at all cost" mentality. They are definitely gonna feel it.
Rex is just making sure they still sell tickets, and don't feel it in their pocketbooks....
I'm more interested in re-signing Light to a cap friendly backloaded 2-3 year deal...and drafting a beast like Ben Ijalana somewhere in the 2nd round and letting him develop for a year or so. Then he or Vollmer takes over for Light when ready.
After watching a lot of highlight tape on the players available to us at this position.....Muhammad Wilkerson impressed me the most.
He looked very quick for a man that big, and appeared to have the best nose for the ball out of all of them so far. JJ Watts was second IMO. He doesn't seem to...
It was my me and my girls fault...I was wearing my new Patriots pajama pants instead of the lucky old ones....and she wasn't wearing her Patriots thong at the start of the game like she always does on gameday :(
Patriots - 41
Saints - 38
Neither defense is capable of stopping their opponents high powered offense.
This game WILL be a shootout won by whichever team gets the ball last....
Re: OT: New York Jets Super Bowl DVD- Was 24.99, now 1.19
LMAO
You've gotta put this on Jets Insider for the few remaining Jets Fans that still haven't been committed for observation.....
