Wow. You really are comparing Garrard to Feely? In case you haven't watched a single Jags game besides the one last night, Garrard has played pretty lights out all year. He averaged over a 100 QB rating for the year. To me, that doesn't sound like an average QB.
Nice game Pats. I wish it had turned out differently, but it was to be expected. It has been nice talking to some of you, and good luck the rest of the way.
No doubt, and if I came off sounding holier than though, it wasn't my intention. Iy just seemed to me that many people are looking for bait from the jags or anywhere they can find it. Bringing up Spicer's comments from 4 months ago was rediculous for the media to do, but of course they wanted...
Jeez, for a 16-0 team some of you guys really search for bulletin board material. I'm sure BB is going to use an ESPN poll to hype up the team. It's unbelievable how insecure some of you guys are.
I am assuming Jaxpatriots means you're from Jacksonville, if not, nevermind. The other Florida teams steal some thinder, but it's really the Gators that are the biggest competition. Some people will drive across the country to see UF play Montana state, but won't pony up for season tickets...
Re: OT:Jags vs Steelers 2 point conversion.
Not true. They went for 2 twice, if they kick the extra point the first time, a 2 pt conversion is unnecessary the second time. IMO it was an impatient call, but I enjoyed it.
Yeah buddy, because everyone in Jacksonville lives in a trailer. Never mind the expansive beach or large riverfront areas or the fact that it's one of the fastest growing cities in the country. If it's so bad down here, will you tell your parents to stop moving this way.
I guess you don't watch much football besides the pats. I'm pretty sure you know of Rashean Mathis, and if you don't, he'll be the guy, "covering" Moss for the game. I agree that most of our WR's are unknown, but that has alot to do w/ our running game, and the fact Garrard spreads the ball...
Where did I talk smack? Maybe I was a little rude to the Steeler fan, but for the most part they have been insufferable on our boards. I have nothing but respect for what the pats have done this season, and I'm hoping for a good, injury free game. However, your team isn't invincible (although...
Have you seen Grady "gravy" Jackson. If the Pats decide to run a no huddle while he's in the game, I can almost guarantee an injury time out for the Jags. Derek Landri, our rookie DT from ND, has really started to play well in the last couple of games, so we have SOME depth on the line...
I certainly hope that we win a supebowl or two by the time the Jags franchise reaches the age of both the Steelers and Pats. We have been one of the more succesful expansion franshises of all time since our inception though....so we got that going for us.:)
