Was really funny overall but calling a straight guy gay over and over isn't funny or roasting to me. It's like Keven Hart saying "**** you, Tom" 30 times. It's just tiresome and not funny. Loved to see all those guys together dishing out and reacting to most of this stuff though.
Based on reading advertisements for lots of colleges not too long ago college marketing departments find it absolutely critical to advertise their efforts on diversity and social justice. Since players are a similar age it makes sense to me. That's apparently how you connect with this age...
What were we getting sticking with Belichick? How many increasingly bad seasons were we supposed to wait? Assuming we wanted him did he even intend on coaching long enough to have him start this rebuild? I consider myself pro-Patriots, not anti-Belichick. If there was a good path with him I...
This is a stupid football team top to bottom right now. We run out Mac Jones like we are desperate to lose and when we're at the draft pick finish line we win this meaningless game? sigh.
As it applies to each of us in the immediate future this is true. Unfortunately it seems likely that our failure to take much more drastic action much earlier will end up being the dumbest thing the human race has ever done.
Even though Zappe threw a bunch of awful passes and failed to get rid of the ball several times and failed to score even a single point it was better than watching Jones.
What's our record if we had a 2nd/3rd tier NFL level starting QB? I just googled qb rankings and 16-18 are Dobbs, Howell, and Carr.
Our guy Mac was 28th in that ranking but I think his play today was well below even that standard. He just keeps getting worse.
Hot take: I think we'll blow them out and Mac will look great but it won't carry over and we're right back to where we were next week. Some people will speculate he's turned the corner but they'll will be wrong.
I'm not sure if Mac was the problem originally but he has become the problem now. Water under the bridge. Leaves us in a tough spot since it would be nice to address some other desperate need vs. QB again so soon.
We desperately need a #1 WR and then some. Mac makes enough mistakes that I'm hoping we find a replacement, but nobody is going to be a contender with a group like this IMO. Douglas was great today but he can't be the first guy. I know our guys are injured but we weren't sufficient even...
On around half the offense plays it feels like we paint ourselves into a corner. If the first read isn't there there's nowhere to go, no outlet man available, etc. We end up with negative plays, turnovers, etc. Compound that with way too many procedural penalties and add in some drops and...
I don't want to hear it. I moved to NE from Illinois same time as Eason and have been a fan since although I wasn't an every game person until the Bledsoe era. Watched every 10am game at bars and casinos when I lived out West in the 90's.
