First of all, you're presupposing that it was done surreptitiously. It likely wasn't. Second of all, there would have been no need to sit in the sauna, and it could have been a sauna specifically constructed for the purpose, unobtrusive and not large enough for humans.
It is generally accepted that you can't prove a negative. It is difficult to see how a ball boy (on either sideline) would be able to doctor the footballs once returned from the referees.
My scenario also explains why Tom Brady didn't notice anything wrong with the footballs (i.e...
Thursday, Bill Belichick stepped up to the podium and said the pressure to which the Patriot’s footballs are inflated has never been a concern of his and they should ask Tom Brady. Outside of New England Patriots fans, no one believed him.
Later on Thursday, Tom Brady stepped up to the same...
"Any action by any opposing player that causes Peyton Manning any discomfort, whatsoever, is to be treated as 'Unsportsmanlike Conduct' to be penalized by a 15 yard penalty and an automatic first down." - AFC Championship Rule Addendum 1.
No lead is safe in Indy, where they have control over the heat and humidity, and the ability to electronically enhance the crowd noise. Been there, done that.
So what? That's like saying a QB drafted in the sixth round hasn't a chance against the overall #1. Drafting is an art not a science; if it were a science, Belichick would never have busts.
Re: New York Post releases private email from Gisele to close friends and Family memb
Lead story on Mike and Mike tomorrow: Brady uses wife to guarantee victory.
The other TE was Stephen Spach - Stephen Spach, TE for the St. Louis Rams at NFL.com.
And unfortunately he was left off the Active Roster for Super Bowl XLII. Against the Chargers in the AFC CC, that third TE (Spach) made all the difference. It prevented the Chargers Defense from applying...
I don't know about historically but according to the Chicago Tribune, Super Bowl XLVI is attracting more bets on the Giants than on the Pats.
"MGM Resorts International ... said about 65 per cent of the money bet so far in its casinos was for the Giants." Vegas bookmakers' cheering Patriots...
The 3rd TE is the key to handling the Giants D; it was in 42 and will be in 46. In 07, BB left the 3rd TE on the Inactive Roster and TB got murdered. That 3rd TE was the key to AFC CG against the Chargers. BB likes to mix it up and outcoached himself.
Depends on how much you hate the Jets, Ryanosaurus Rex and Dirty Sanchez. That crew (criminal pun intended) is the only gang (ditto) that will compell me to pull for a Peyton Manning victory.
Speaking for myself, and mixing metaphors, as a Red Sox fan, I've been conditioned to anticipate the hammer falling. If I woke up tomorrow and discovered that the last decade has been a dream, all I would say is "I knew it."
Re: Vick Stirs Debate in the M.V.P. Vote
I don't know if another poster has already pointed this out but since 1999 the League MVP has NOT won the Super Bowl. This includes 2007. Does this qualify as a curse (ala Madden)? I couldn't say.
I will say: give Vick the MVP and Brady the Lombardi.
Make sure your probation officer knows you're leaving the state. I've never met a Jets' fan who wasn't a convicted felon and I have to assume that you are as well.
I am so tired of seeing Dirty Sanchez's ugly mug on TV. He's not competing with Brady for the AFC East crown; he's after Manning's hold on product advertisements. The sooner he returns to anonymity, the sooner my TV will no longer endure verbal abuse.
I believe the acronym is actually:
Patriots
Endure (another)
Rather
Foolishly
Emasculating
Colts
Tantrum
Of course, that is to be expected when your QB has girl's name.
