Re: Moss's catches were ridiculous
i think he actually had a one handed catch that was slightly out of bounds that obviously didn't count. but the guy is amazing. glad he's on the team
It's week 7 and the defense is defintiely not in the groove. The run defense needs improvement, the pass defense does also. it's not how you are palying week 7 but in week 16.
this team is not done improving and the defense will get better.
how so? when you're up big time you take the foot off the pedla a bit and allow the underneath.
Gay had an INT. I agree they could use improvement but it's not the end of the world and it has to be hard to keep up the intensity for the entire game when you are crushing a team.
Re: Does the pats D look shaky to you?
It is very tough to judge the defense because the Pats have been up by a large margin so often. IMO I think they are allowing alot of underneath completions.
Yes youa re correct Indy will be the true judge of how good the defense is.
I think this Dallas Vikings game will help determine how good their run defense is or how bad the Pats rushing offense was.
I also realize that their top two rb's were injured, but Morris started the game.
I agree on it's steep. The only real bonus is redzone channel. I don't like the multichannel, too many games and still too small on a 42" screen.
When I went to HD, there was no way I was gonna watch the sunday ticket in standard def(I bought HD tv in week 3)
don't know how you can start a thread like this and call yourself a Pats fan.
that would be like saying if you lose the positive side is you get a better draft pick.
I do hope that the Pats make a consistent effort to keep Welker in the game for the underneath stuff. if brady continues to expolit the underneath the deeper stuff will open up and there is no way the defense can cover everyone.
one key is the continued great play of the O-line. if you are...
I would say that is mildly impressive. The front 7 wasn't really the issue on that team. It was their corners at times and Big Ben made awful decisions.
Until the Pats beat the Colts I will continue to be nervous. I guess the major concern I have is how the defense will perform especially after they got shredded a little by Dallas. Will the Pats be able to slow down that offense and will the corners perform as well as they did at the end of...
