If Kraft did all these things. (And skimped on the facility to the point where it got one of the lowest grades in the NFLPA survey) And Free Agency spending this year is basically the same as it's been for over 20 years, why is it Bill that "destroyed this team for 4 years"? Doesn't Kraft...
IIRC Belichick changed his approach with Randy Moss back in 2007 as well. Pumping his tires constantly (Moss deserved the accolades. But BB clearly treated other players who also deserved them differently).
So far I'm liking the signings. Brissett, resigning Onwenu, Bourne & Reagor. And we'll see about Takitaki, Gibson & Okafor.
Edited to add we re-signed Henry too.
I'd prefer something additional this year and next. Especially a 2nd this year. Since it's so deep this year at OT & WR. Even if it's in place of that 2026 1st*. And of course, I wouldn't go too far down, 11 or 12 max.
Worst case scenario, we miss out on the 2nd tier QB we want. And sign...
I'm trying to find the 40 time & more importantly 10 yard split for Michigan OT LaDarius Henderson but I'm not having any luck and I missed it live. I think he could be a good day 3 sleeper.
Mac Jones was pretty good his rookie year and a hot mess last year. I think his performance last year is the most relevant and I don't think his performance the years before that should be the basis for any draft decisions. Same principle.
(And no, I'm not suggesting any QB in the 2024 draft is...
Wow, 42" Vert for Pearsall. And Wolf said he likes explosive players.
I wonder if VJ & BJ are going to become the new version of the 3-cone for WRs we draft?
I didn't have any ulterior motives. I wasn't cherry-picking. I just picked their most recent season because that gives the clearest picture of where they are right now. Because we've all seen QB's that get better (or worse) as their college career progresses.
Why would NASA bother going back? They got most of the data they wanted 50 years ago. And anything else they want to know they can get from other countries or private companies for a fraction of the cost. They have finite resources (budget constraints) and more important stuff to do.
And I...
If he's too stupid (or wacky) to understand basic facts he's too stupid to understand a playbook and too wacky to stay out of the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
If I'm a GM I ponder whether he knows he won't pass a drug test and would rather be thought of as arrogant than too stupid to stay clean for a month for a test he knew was coming for years.
I could kinda see the top guys skipping the 40 and other performance tests for fear of injury. Although I...
Half the ints than Maye with only 2 less TDs, almost 9% better completion rate than Maye, 18 point higher QB rating than Maye.Frankly, it's Maye that I think is way overrated.
I agree, I hate that Daniels didn't get measured. And I also am really warming up to JJ McCarthy. I really love his competitiveness and attitude. As well as his skills. But I don't think I'd take him sooner than #10.
LOL. I tend to do that every year. Mention I like a ton of players. Then when one turns into a great pro, hey "I was right". And ignore the busts ;)
For the record. Guys I think that disappointed were QB Bo Nix and WR Devontez Walker. And I liked them going into the Senior Bowl.
I really like what I'm seeing out of OTs Tyler Guyton (Oklahoma) & Christian Jones (Texas). Also WRs Roman Wilson (Michigan) , Ladd McConky (Georgia) & to a lesser extent Brenden Rice (USC) & Xavier Legette (South Carolina).
I'm absolutely praying Guyton lasts till #34. But I'm not optimistic. Him and Christian Jones, the OT from Texas are looking very good at Senior Bowl practices.
