Re: O.T. Record attendance at Colts Camp - Funny

Parcells said that during the divorce...he said it was like that before he got here and he would like to think that he was part of the turnaround...are you one of those bandwagoners? You dont remember what it was like before the Tuna?

Why do you suppose they have "sold out" since 1994? Would the Tuna have ANYTHING to do with it?

Whos the idiot now, jackass?

Mr. Coffee was there before the Tuna came. He's a great fan. Say hi to him for me if you see him at the Snug.:)

Re: O.T. Record attendance at Colts Camp - Funny

Half the midwest drinks the blue koolaid. Indy can pack there stadium, why cant they pack there camp? Indiana has a population of over 6 million people. MA has a population of a little over 6 million .Indy also has a lot of "fans" from other midwestern states. Just like NE has fans from places like NH, VT and CT. Indy is building a huge new stadium right? Excuses, excuses.

8000 at pats camp 1500 at colts camp after they won it all last year. Nuff said.

The fact of the matter is Indys market is smaller because most of those 6 million people dont care about the colts. Well other then to spew nonsense since they became fans a few months ago.

Which is it? You seem to contradict yourself.

BTW, population density has a lot to do with it. How many people do you think live within 70 miles of Pats camp?

No idea. The facts speak for themselves. There are plenty of people from hours away who show up. Travel hundreds of miles from all the northen NE states. There is much more traffic around here. The big dig, Boston etc etc. Many factors to offset your density claims. The facts speak for themselves, over 6 million people in Indy and 1500 "fans" show up. Terrible.

How am I contraciting myself? I said Indys market was smaller because most people do not care about the colts. The market could be large if more of those 6 million plus people cared about the BEST TEAM EVER. You act as if people love there colts and the market is smaller do to less people. Fact is Indy has just as many people as MA. The market is smaller because the vast majority of those 6 million plus people dont support there team.

It was nice to hear manning say how much he craved fan loyalty like he saw in NE with the Sox and Pats. Poor guy.

Have to give up to those folks; considering 1,716 of them didn't know the Colts existed before they won the Super Bowl, that is a great turnout.

What a combination; being a hayseed AND a bandwagon fan, doesn't get much better than that.

Don't blame the Indy fans. The problem is space. They start with 3,000 seats, but once you figure out the space needed for Manning's forehead and the number of seats needed for Pete Prisco to view his QB from every conceivable angle, it cuts the capacity down to 1,700.

Man, I don't know why I get sucked into debates with you. You get something in your head and your don't accept anything other than that thought. Do you not understand the difference in the population centers? I'll give you the people drive hundreds of miles to go to camp, but I'm willing to bet a majority of those that go are realatively close. The the state populations may be similar, but the state sizes are not. Heck, what's the population of the Boston metro area? It's over 4 million right? Indy's population is somewhere between 1 and 1.5 million. That is why Boston is considered a bigger market. It's population.

You contadicted yourself saying...

I dont know many people that live in Foxboro. Pretty sparse area. Most everyone travels some distance to the games. Who cares about population centers. Boston is over 40 min from Foxboro. Bottom line, 6 million people in the state, 1500 show up at camp. TERRIBLE.

When I said half the mid west drinks the blue kool aid I was refering to the fact that most people from mid western states claim to be colts fans now, yet dont support the team like a true fan. Going to camp etc etc. Indy has large "market" numbers population wise. The fans choose not to make it grow by riding the bandwagon and not supporting there team like they should : ) I wonder how many indy fans there where a quarter and a half into the title game. I would say 75 percent burned there Jerseys by that point.

Indiana has 170 per square mile. Massachusetts has over 800 people per square mile. If you don't understand that then you win, you must be right. I'm done with this topic.

Yet the total population of each state is is just about the SAME. Both have just over 6 million people. If you dont understand that I still win

So people in indy have more land? People in MA fight traffic like you can only dream about. The commute is much more difficult. Excuses, excuses. 6 million people and 1500 come to camp? Terrible!

I'll be commuting 8500 miles each way for at least one game this year.

You TOTALLY win this one PatJ!

Re: O.T. Record attendance at Colts Camp - Funny

What about all the pats fans from VT, CT and NH ? How far of a drive is it for them? Over an hour? 8000 plus people at pats camp. I guess that whole extra 20 miles caused 7000 less colts "fans" to show up:rolleyes:
Don't forget Maine. I bet "T-Shirt Dynasty's" commute would be at least a 10 hour drive from the "County"!

Re: O.T. Record attendance at Colts Camp - Funny

looks like about 7000 showed up for Wednesday's practice. Looks like Colts fans DO travel.

:)

Sure they do; the welfare office was closed on Wednesday.
