Don't know if this was mentioned already (and I apologize in advance if it has), but looks like Chad Scott will be OK.

good to hear, never like to hear of bad injuries, event if it is the Pats.

At this point, a player can lose an arm in the pile and BB would list him as day to day.

Wasn't Harrison referred to as "day to day" for a couple weeks after he shredded every tendon in his knee?

Don't see where you should be coming to your conclusion, if you are basing it on what Karen wrote.

I would say at this point, nobody really knows (I suspect scope once swelling goes down) and if they do know, good or bad - NOBODY is talking.

You're joking, right? Or perhaps you've never been issued a Belichick to English decoder ring. This broadly translates to his leg is sore and it will either get better spontaneously or after corrective surgery and indeterminant rehab. Day to day. Today he is on the roster. Tomorrow he could be on IR. Day to day.

Yeah, I guess you're right on that. But I hope he's fine. Seems like we've been losing too many players to injuries the last few years. It's not always a big name like Rodney or Seymour, but some key contributors who would make a difference seem to go down. I hate injuries and would agree with the Jets fan on the fact that I wish no injuries to ANY football player, no matter what team he plays for. Don't get me wrong, I can't stand watching us lose to the Colts or any other team, but it wouldn't be the same if we beat them with Manning out.

The Pats once reported that a Deion Branch knee injury wouldn't have prevented him from going back into the game he got hurt in. He missed 2 months.

You can't listen to anything they say on injuries.

Yeah thats true, you could die playing for BB and you'll be listed as questionable.

No question, the freaking injury bug really seems to bite us hard - especially with our D backs, every freaking year we get hit hard, ever since Carolina in the Superbowl.

At least it seems that way, I realize NFL football is a game of attrition and who is left standing at the end of the year, versus who is the best on paper. It just seems that we have been hit especially hard in the Defensive backfield versus other teams.

Maybe we catch a break with Scott and the injury bugs leaves us alone for a year. I promise you if that happens, we win it all going away. I really think injury is the only thing that stops this team this year.

Just for the record, Belichick said it during an interview on Sirius NFL Radio today; and like others have already mentioned, I would take his response that Scott is "day to day" simply as coach speak. In other words - there's no way we can read into it one way or another.

BB listed the Charles Manson victims as "day to day".

Well, if any coach in the NFL could come up with a play that calls for a corpse, it'd be BB

Meaningless. Walter Payton is day-to-day in BB-ese.

Keep this in mind:

-Harrison was placed on the IR two days after his injury.

-Gardner was placed on the IR one day after his.

-Today was the second day after Scott's injury. He wasn't placed on IR.

Or Lovie Smith or Tony Dungy, given their belief in the historical significance of "Two Christian coaches in the super bowl."

The ultimate "comeback player..."
