I keep going back to 1 play...1 play that i think screwed them

Not a big fan of the hurry up run in general, particularly inside the 5 yd line. While it's obviously worked out well some of the time, it has seemed awfully predictable for at least a couple of seasons.

In the past 2 weeks the Pats blew two 14 point lead and granted huge momentum swings that defined these games. That's serious business, the coaching staff should sit together and figure out wtf is going on.

I'd go back to the previous play.

Had White simply made a strong attempt for the goal line or had he managed just one more step after a DB two-hand-touched him from behind, the entire hurry up play and subsequent pick-6 never happen.

Faulk, Woodhead, Vereen, Lewis, and - dare I say - Bolden, all score on that play.

three plays killed them.

Pick Six in the red zone(10 point swing)
Punt block(7 points)
Punt return(7 points)

The game went from a blow out to a loss because of three plays.

The issue people have isn't with white, it is the call to leave home there on 1st and one at the one. There isn't a heavy set "check with me?" Brady could run there for a td or sneak? Or atleast close to positive yardage rather than that loss? Then panic and go split wide. Rather than let the huge slow looking rb continue to run at a soft run d...what do the young guards supposedly do well? That's right, run block. Run the damn ball with regularity. Blount was freestyling but successful for much of the game. White flashed out of the backfield once Brady hit him...late. If anything, "run" blount on a PA route with a bail out toss OOB rather than White between the tackles on goal and short. FFS.
Woolster - You need to look at the message he was responding to... @BlitzFritz was, most certainly, blaming White for the play..

Fair enough. Some people may see it that way. To me it is reminiscent of the way we'd seem to use vereen/blount/ridley for roles their skills weren't exactly suited to last year. Ridley gets a stretch/toss for nothing. Pass on 2nd. Vereen between the tackles. Punt. Abandon run game because, "it isn't working."
