You must have linked to the wrong thread. That thread is populated almost exclusively with Bills fans being self-deprecating and level headed.

About half the people participating in that thread are trying to come up with reasons for why that game is relevant - i.e. "we were leading at half time when they pulled their starters." Which isn't true. A lot of the NE starters (on both offense and defense) didn't start the game.

If you thought I was implying all Bills fans feel that way, you were clearly mistaken.

I believe he was listed out on Friday so I just think another week.
But it's an illness not a typical physical injury. You think whenever the illness clears up he'd be good to go as long as he gets a practice or two in during the week.

Rex Ryan in Gillette has one win since 2009. ONE

Give me a break with being worried about him.
He was 4-10, while that seems pretty miserable in comparison to a coach and team with such an astonishing w/L record it's not horrible. he has a legit win there which doug marrone, even i will argue was half baked.... I'll take his 1 win and his 4 wins because it's better than any other coach buffalo or.... the afc east has against.

I don't think buffalo will have an answer for scott chandler and gronk. chandler is a big dude and if they get down to the red zone, if chandler does what he is capable of, he will be a key to this weeks game.

I thought you were referencing Cannon not Collins in the other post.

Generally I would agree but I never expected him to miss two games to a normal illness. So I'm just saying I won't plan on his playing until he returns to practice and we really can't make a guess without more details.

Over-react much? No one is saying it's going to be a cake walk.

132 rushing yards is what the Pats gave up. They also didn't have Akiem Hicks and the defense wasn't a gelled as it is now.. Butler has improved immensely since that game. So have Ryan and Coleman.

You seem to forget that it was 37-19 going into the 4th quarter and there were some very questionable non-calls that allowed the Bills to come back to make it seem like a close game.

It was 160 yards, but that wasn't the point.

My point was that our two most dynamic offensive players from the first game are now missing, and offensively it is highly unlikely we have the same success we did in round 1.

On the defensive side, it was a reaction that we shouldn't be afraid of their offense since their qb is no good and our run defense is great. I just pointed out that, while our run D has been great, they did a number on us that day.

As for the lead, yeh I watched the game. I don't foresee bad clock management or late turnovers this time around from bill and tom. At the same token, I expect a far lower scoring game this time around and far fewer turnovers.

Divisional games are always interesting. When ever you think it's a blow out, it's close. Whenever you think it's close, it's a blow out.

Then I say 14-13 Pats. :)

132 by the Running backs.. Which is usually the big killer..But it worked in the Pats favor because the Bills kept running it despite being down by a large margin..

HUGE assumptions on your part there. Every game is different and that's why they play.

Again, our run defense wasn't great that day.. But they also hadn't gelled either. And I'm not worried about the running because it worked in our favor that they ran as much as they did.

Why expect a far lower scoring game? Because you say so? Guess you need to be reminded that the Pats didn't have LaFell or Stork that game and Blount was playing in just his first game.

Futhermore, Kyle Williams won't be playing for the Bills and that's huge because he's always played excelled against the Pats.. Yes, they get McKelvin back, but he doesn't worry me. He always seems to choke facing the Pats..

We need everybody healthy for the donkeys. I hope we do a better job against the run then last time. Our run defense has improve alot

I don't see what your point has to do with giving up rushing yards.

BTW - Patriots are best in the league against the run after the first two weeks. Suffice it to say, I think they've figured it out.

And Percy Harvin who was somewhat of a factor in that game is out for the season.

Amendola's role won't change, imo. More likely Martin or Harper or someone else plays Edelman's role.

Crush them BB
