But per the summary in http://www.sbnation.com/2015/8/20/9183121/chris-borland-concussions-nfl-retirement-profile:

• Borland thinks he had 30 concussions in a short football career.
• For that and other reasons, he thinks the danger in football should and will doom the sport.

Please note that it's a branch of ESPN that's running this story, albeit not the broadcast operations. Anybody who thinks ESPN is too corrupt to report negatively on football should admit there are a lot of exceptions.

And by the way -- that article has a reference to the Chris Carter "fall guy" flap, and may in fact be what set the flap off.

Since I'm in "burn it all down" mode after all these shenanigans, I hope the NFL is dead sooner rather than later.

I don't. I do however want to see Goodell and others fired and maybe worse. I love football too much to want to see it gone. Get some good people in charge that you never hear about because the game is bigger than them.

Had this been the case currently we would be looking at at a minimum, 7 championships, since '01.
