So what happens if Goodell is found in contempt of court tomorrow?

I would love to see jail time.

My understanding is that the NFL appealed the ruling and so didn't fell obligated to follow the ruling (that should please the court). I guess they could have requested an injunction but didn't. But isn't the ruling now moot? Even so, I would think the league could be on the hook for a hefty fine if Doty rules against them.

I wouldn't hold my breath. People who make 44 mil a year are not often sent to jail for contempt. They will just fine him and he won't care.

But what about the integrity?

We crack open a bottle of champagne?

Just spent a couple hours googling around trying to find news on this. Nada. Anyone hear anything?

Is there any legal way for the judge to suspend him four games?

I think the judge that ruled against him to begin with should appoint him/herself to hear this contempt hearing

I think the best way to look at this is what the laws for contempt of court is in Minnesota since that is where Judge Doty presides.
This is a federal court. While customs, procedures and precedents may vary across districts, the law's the same everywhere in the US.
