I would not say it is a "headscratcher" I think we all understand why he made the pick. You cannot get that kind of talent late int he first round without taking some risk.

I agree with taking chances on 30+ picks in the first round. I am just sad that unless things change drastically, Easley might be a Ras-I indeed...

You have to wonder if the Patriots would have been better off siting him last year instead of forcing him to play on a gimpy knee. Now he is facing a delayed recovery and his career may be over. I hope that this is not part of the macho BS so prevalent in the NFL where players are forced to play when injured and never get fully healed.
